GBPB 2021 is applied itself to improve the awareness of the whole society on green building materials certification, guide consumers to choose materials scientifically, strengthen the public green production and consumption concept, assist consumers to choose certified products; actively appeal building materials production enterprises to participate in the certification to boost the upgrading of building materials industry; accelerate the spread and application, cultivate demonstration products and enterprises and encourage the preferential use of green building materials in government-funded projects, key projects, municipal public projects, green buildings and ecological urban areas, prefabricated buildings etc.; and enhance the popularity and market competitiveness of Foshan's superior industrial products, to expedite the development on the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and One Belt And One Road.
Supported by STC, Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangdong Province, Foshan Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, and Guangdong Province Green Building Materials Product Promotion Office, GBPB 2021, themed on “Green Construction, Green China”, is aimed at building a platform that brings together government, real estate development, building construction, architectural design, materials and equipment, testing and certification, and other upstream and downstream industrial chains for communication and cooperation. Focus on innovative construction, green development, new infrastructure, assembly, information technology and so forth, GBPB 2021 is co-located with a series of related conferences which will invite relevant associations, industry insiders and scholars at home and abroad to attend, providing a great opportunity for the promotion and application of green building materials and prefabricated buildings.
